Each watch is individually numbered, and this is number 009.The watch design was created by several professional users from the German watch forum "Uhrforum" (Watch Forum). It was manufactured by the Swiss watchmaker Hourlabel (Sarnen, Switzerland). As soon as you see an event (e.g., a flash of lightning), the timer starts, and when you hear the same event (e.g., thunder), the chronograph stops. Sound travels approximately one kilometer in three seconds, while a flash of light takes a negligible three microseconds to cover the same distance. Therefore, you can directly read the distance in kilometers on the telemeter scale by dividing the displayed seconds by three. The telemeter was originally used for military purposes. Muzzle flashes from artillery produced a visible light effect, and the time until the cannon fired was measured. Other applications included measuring distances during bombing raids or torpedo hits.
